Icewind Dale II rules!!!

Yesterday I bought the RPG "Icewind dale II", which is a great computergame from Black Isle. It is set in the world of The Forgotten Realms and is built upon the Baldur's Gate engine and the D&D rules. Before, I have played "Baldur's Gate I" and "Icewind dale I", both which I loved so when I saw the sequel on sale I immediately added it to my shoppingcart!I wasn't much into RPGs earlier. I got confused trying to control 6 characters at once and the fact that everyone just kept dying wasn't more encouraging. I was an adventure girl by heart. Games such as "Leisure Suit Larry", "Kings Quest" and "Monkey Island" were my favourites. Then it happened that I brought "Icewind dale I" home from the library because I was bored and wanted to try something new (an approach that also made me fall in love with "Civilization II" btw). And the result was that I was glued to my computer for the next 24 hours playing the game. Then I checked out the net and saw that most people preferred the original "Baldur's Gate" to "Icewind Dale", so I set out to buy that one. Loved that one too!There are pros and cons to all the three games I've tried (I have yet to try "Baldur's gate II" and the expansion packs). I'll list them on a page as soon as I figure them out. That'll probably be one of my next projects for this site. Fun Gaming!
